I am 73 years old & have been married to my wife Wendy for 47 years. We have 2x children. Kim our daughter,who lives in country Victoria & our son Troy, who lives here in Perth. I have been making surfboards here in Perth for over 50 years, professionally since 1962-3. My business was originally at 229 Stirling Highway North Fremantle Westen Australia in a Metodist Church (It is now a antique shop). I am currently building boards & have been since 1983-4 at 496 Marmion Street Booragoon Western Australia.

Len Dibben Surfboards have been manufacturing surfboards for over 50 plus years. From the earlist days of Hollow Wooden construction through to the first foam surfboard that Len made in his family’s Back yard in Beaconsfield (Poly – styrene foam & Epoxy resin & fibreglass) in the late 1950′s. Then when poly – urethane foam came avaiable in the very early 1960′s Len Dibben then saw the possibilitys of a future in the surfing business, because at the time there had developed in Sydney a number of surfboard manufactures on the east coast. So with that in mind Len Dibben surfboards started in North Fremantle & as they say the rest is history. Len is still making surfboards,longboards, & all types of different models to suit the surfer in this modern enviroment.

Len Dibben can manufacture all types of Surfing Equipment from high performance Short boards through to Mini mals. Longboards, Big guys boards (Fun Guns), Surf Machines ( Some times called Eggs ), Twin fins, Thruster’s (3 x fins), Quads (4 x fins), Retro surfboards ( 40 – 70′s) style, Big wave surfboards (Guns or Hard core), Knee boards, etc. Len also prides himself on the exact quality of the finished product from Shaping, Spraying, Glassing Fitting fins, Sanding & the finish. Len also can restore your old board back to where it was originally & repairs are carried out in the same fashion.
