I started making the Fun Gun model 8 to 10 years ago to allow surfers to compete with the emerging Longboard phenomenon as surfers were being out-paddled on to waves. The Fun Gun has all the features of a modern board but with slightly wider nose and plan shape giving more surface area for ease to catch waves, but still maintaining all the criteria you need to compete with your mate on a Longboard or get your share of waves in a packed line-up with a heap of Shortboards.
